“ Wonderful experience! We got this tip from the cashier at the local Shell station. We were starving and try to stick to local joints. Granny Hands did not disappoint. When we arrived, there was a line out front waiting for the doors to open. As we went, we heard the most welcoming greeting that actually sounded sincere as though they really were grateful that each person was there. But let me tell you, the choice of foods available was almost overwhelming. I say this because how can one choose. We had the opportunity to taste dishes that arent at a typical buffet. I also need to tell you that I DO NOT like buffets, I feel that the bland tasteless selections arent worth the money. Noth the case here. They even let us explore to see if we wanted to stay. We tasted a bit of everything and stayed full the entire day. There were breakfast selections and lunch. The biscuits were 6 were the grits and gravy. Oh, and every flavor of gravy was available! We encountered some foods that we had to ask about because they were unfamiliar but tasty. Turkey legs in gravy, homemade desserts, shrimp, salt pork, you name it, they had it, and it was hot and not room temp. Even the lemonade and sweet tea were perfect, not too sweet or bitter, just right. GrannyHands is worthy of a stop when traveling through Greenwood, SC. I gave a 4 for the atmosphere because it was almost too dimly lit. Parking is tricky out front, so park behind the restaurant. Keep an open mind, and youre gonna love GrannyHands. I know that I was delightfully surprised. ”
“ Granny Hands has the best soul food in Greenwood, South Carolina! Food and Service are a 1010. It is packed every time my family and I go. I live in Charlotte, and if there were a Granny Hands there, I would be there every week. The owner, Tish, knows what shes doing in the kitchen, and she is extremely personable. It was a pleasure meeting her during my last visit. If youre ever in Greenwood, make sure that you visit. You wont be disappointed! ”
